- Additional rent/gas stipend available (total $200/month)
- Settling in allowance: $750
- Relocation allowance (varies depending on distance)
- Optional $6,895 education award OR

VISTA Grief Resource & Suicide Awareness Coordinator
Start date is flexible, term is 12 months
Minimum age: 18
Education: High school diploma/GED
Location: Massachusetts
Responsibilities
As the VISTA Grief Resource & Suicide Awareness Coordinator, your responsibilities may include the following:
Cape & Islands Suicide Awareness Walk (Sharing Kindness’ signature fundraiser)
- Event organization
- Assistance with basic graphic design and marketing
- Database management
- Volunteer management
- Engagement in partnership collaboration and community outreach
Communications & Marketing
- Working with our behavioral health clinician to develop yearlong social media campaigns around grief support and suicide awareness
- Research and document information for posts
- Help develop quarterly newsletter
- Monitor relevant news and related national organizations
Support for Growth & Development
- Assistance with our current capacity-building grant
- Support for special events
- Compilation of grief groups information
- Tabulation of data from pre- and post-group surveys
- Compiling statistical reports
- Assistance in grant writing
