Dr. O’Connor is the author of The Grieving Brain: The Surprising Science of How We Learn from Love and Loss (2022; HarperOne). Donald Meichenbaum,PhD Distinguished Professor Emeritus, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is presently Research Director of the Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention in Miami and one of the founders of Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
