“A single act of kindness throws out roots in all directions, and the roots spring up and make new trees.”

– Amelia Earhart

A tree is only as strong as its roots. At the root of our organization is a group of selfless individuals who give their time, talents and passion for this cause, keeping us grounded and helping us grow and thrive in everything we do. They are our volunteers.

Volunteer opportunities at Sharing Kindness are ever-changing, and may include the following:

  • Fundraising
  • Networking to grow our donor base
  • Researching and/or writing grant opportunities
  • Helping at events like our annual Cape & Islands Suicide Awareness Walk
  • Facilitating peer grief support groups with our mental health clinician (see details below)

If you’re interested in lending a hand to our organization, then we welcome your enthusiasm and look forward to you joining our team. “Thank you” only begins to express our appreciation for the donation of your time, energy and support!
