Peer Grief Support for Individuals

Programs for adults who are grieving, tailored to specific age groups, relationships and types of death  

Current Programs:

Young Adult Group

A monthly peer support group for young adults (ages 18-29) to connect through the shared experience of grief. ‣Info & registration

Adult Group

This monthly group offers a safe space for adults (ages 30-55) to support each other along their grief journeys. ‣Info & registration

Older Adult Group

A monthly program that allows older adults (ages 55+) to meet peers who understand their grief. ‣Info & registration

Perinatal Loss Group

A monthly group for bereaved parents who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth or early infant loss. ‣Info & registration

Child Loss Group

A monthly peer grief support group for those who have experienced the death of a child, by any means except suicide (see below group for Child Loss by Suicide). ‣Info & registration

Suicide Loss Survivor Groups

Monthly programs for individuals who are grieving a suicide death. ‣Info & registration

Shawme Heights Grief Group (Closed) 

A special program offered to residents of Shawme Heights Apartments in Sandwich, an affordable housing community for seniors and disabled adults. This group is not open to the public.
