Age 34
This is a photo of my son, Tim, who took his own life at the age of 34. He was an extraordinary man whose life, until he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, was filled with accomplishments, joy, friends, good times, passions and big dreams. He fought the disease with everything he could, but in the end, it won. He was a loving son, a beloved brother and an adored uncle. He touched many lives, inspired so many, and will forever be in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a gifted photographer, a scientist, an engineer who was passionate about sustainability, and he loved flying his drone, even when his life was at its worst. This photo is the way I like to remember him.
