Ways to give

Make a one-time or recurring donation

Donations in any amount help sustain and grow suicide prevention and grief support programs on the Cape and Islands. Donate online or mail a check to: Sharing Kindness, P.O. Box 111, South Harwich, MA, 02661

Join the Heart Circle

Through a special giving program, The Heart Circle, members pledge to make annual donations to Sharing Kindness for five years. Hearts bearing donors’ names will be prominently displayed at The Healing House, the bereavement center we plan to open on Cape Cod. Click here to learn more.

Donor-advised funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is an investment account established for the purpose of supporting 501(c)(3) charities, which serves as a “sponsoring organization.” You can use a DAF to support Sharing Kindness through a gift of cash, securities, or other assets, which is immediately tax deductible.

Tribute and memorial gifts

Tribute and memorial gifts are a meaningful way to honor someone special. You may choose to make this donation on a special date, such as an anniversary, birthday, or holiday. Click here to make a one-time or recurring donation in memory or honor of someone.

Gifts of stock and appreciated assets

A gift of stock is a smart and mutually beneficial way to contribute to your preferred charities. We recommend planning gifts of stock and appreciated assets with your legal and financial advisors.

Planned giving

Setting up a planned gift for Sharing Kindness is a thoughtful way to leave a lasting impact on the Cape and Islands. When you include a gift to our nonprofit in your will or trust, you help us build a grief-sensitive, suicide-aware community, providing hope and healing for future generations.
